Greek Salad is made of Summer



The famous Greek salad aka Horiatiki isn't just Greece's most well known salad serving, it has now turned out to be one of the world's most famous, and for

good reason!

This otherwise conventional Greek plate of mixed veggies, otherwise called Xoriatiki, is pressed with nutrients and vitamins that are known to help keep up a sound body and psyche.

Despite the fact that nowadays there are numerous takes and versions on this staple salad, in its most basic version it includes tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, olives, Feta, oregano and olive oil. The blend of these is a basic method to add key nutrients and minerals to your daily eating routine and over summer we can promise you most Greeks do consume a Xoriatiki each and every day!

The Greek salad is low-calorie and supplement thick, additionally giving you a sound portion of nutrients An and C, just as potassium and iron.

For a serving of 6

– 3 large ripe tomatoes, cut into medium pieces or wedges.

– 2 cucumbers, sliced.

– 1 small red onion, thinly sliced.

– salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

– 4 tablespoons olive oil.

– 1 & 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano.

-3/4 (200g) Feta, crumbled.

– handful Greek olives.

-combine all ingredients in bowl, toss and serve.
